About Me

Even though my business is all about you…here is a little bit about me!…if you are curious.

About me

I love stories…hearing them and writing them.

I chased the love of my life out to California in 2012, with my 5 year old son by my side. I was fleeing from a life I was not happy with…years of addiction, a job I hated, and a desire to be different. Luckily…really, seriously, LUCKILY my leap of faith worked out!

After landing a few odd and end jobs, I started working as a Social Media Manager for the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce. Soon after, the CEO left. I took another leap of faith and applied for that job that was so much bigger than anything I’ve ever done. Luckily, that leap of faith worked out too! My biggest accomplishment while running the chamber was the sense of identity we crafted through branding, story-telling, and strategic planning. I grew into something fearlessly creative and incredibly strategic.

After having my 3rd son, I wanted to slow down a bit and desired to do work from the heart. I joined the team at Northgate Christian Fellowship a month before COVID happened. One of my favorite things I did there was the management of our social media. Lucky me! I finessed my communication skills, giving them a purpose that was far bigger than me…I was spreading hope posting about Jesus! I was furloughed a year after I started, due to COVID.

What seemed like a bummer became a huge blessing. Having grown up riding and showing Arabian Horses, I was offered a job teaching. I had never taught before, so I YouTube’d some tips and researched how to explain concepts. I voluntarily wedged myself into overhauling much of the non-profit. I upgraded the website, implemented an online registration portal and payment system, began managing their social platforms and had a ball creating content.

That leads me to now…I’m still at SpiritHorse and am living out my dreams, while launching another side gig and passion project…this business! I’m new here, I’ll admit it! But I’m here, starting somewhere!
